Spamming
-SPAM stands for "Stupid Pointless Annoying Message." SPAM is defined as any message that is off-topic in regards to the thread or forum that it is posted in, a topic that has no potential for discussion, a repeated point with nothing else added in a discussion, and/or posting content that doesn't add to the discussion/posts that are made for the sake of increasing your post count (like a post with just a quote from another post or a single smiley and nothing else). Arguing with another user in a topic/thread can also be considered SPAM. SPAM is not allowed and will result in a warning to all involved. Failure to acknowledge the warning could result in the topic being locked.

While we try to be as lenient and easygoing here as possible regarding SPAM, it is important to note that we DO enforce this rule. Going off-topic every so often, for example, is fine. But when it becomes too common (like it is now), we must start to take steps to cut it back a little. With that said, please just TRY to keep things on track. All off-topic posts should go in the CT...that is it's purpose. In the future, you may start to see more topics being closed as a result of being "derailed".

We've recently noticed an increasing number of "Attn: " threads being posted. These "call-out" threads have always been against Conversion's ToS, as the subject of these threads can easily be PM'd to the person the thread is directed at, and would probably be noticed by them sooner anyway. "Good morning", "Hello", "Good night", "I'm bored", "Where is everyone" threads should also not be posted. Instead, use the CT for these, as that it what it is there for. Please try to post your threads in the proper forums. We understand that you may want to get replies sooner, but posting a movie or music thread in the lounge is considered SPAM, and will be moved to the proper forum as soon as it is noticed anyway.

Flaming/Harrassment/Racism
-Conversion is built to provide a clean and friendly community. Insulting other users (flaming/bashing), harrassing other users, disrespecting another user, using racism, or trying to incite a negative response out of another user (flame-baiting/trolling) are all against the rules. Flaming other users that have flamed you first is also against the rules. Instead of "taking the bait" and flaming them back, simply report them to a moderator. These are quite serious offenses, and can result in a ban.

Cursing/Swearing
-Cursing is allowed, but not against other users. Excessive cursing is not allowed in topic titles or names. Do not post the "F-word" in a topic title.

Pornagraphy/Adult Material
-Posting pornography or other strong adult content is not allowed.

Ban Circumventing
-"Circumventing" a ban is not allowed. Circumventing is defined as creating and posting on a different (alternate) account while your "main" account is banned. If you have questions regarding your reason for being banned, send them in the form of an unban request. Circumventing will result in the banning or deletion of your new account and will result in your first banned account having its ban-time doubled. Repeated offenses may result in the permanent banning of all of your accounts.

Piracy
-The discussion of illegal or pirated material is prohibited. Sharing sites for "warez", "Roms", or illegal "torrents" is not allowed here.

Other
-Conversion tries to keep all material that may be found strongly offensive off of Conversion, but not everything can be covered. By posting here, you are agreeing that Conversion and all of its affiliates are not responsible for any and all content here. In addition, moderators have the authority to use their own judgement when it comes to what is allowed and what isn't...whether is is mentioned in these ToS or not.
